“I love Dr. Lee. She delivered my son via c-section. She was so calming and explained the facts to me in a way I could understand. I really appreciate everything she did for me and will definitely be seeing her again for baby #2.”
Julia H. Lee, MD, FACOG
Dr. Lee's favorite quote is by Winston Churchill:
Dr. Lee has been with OBGYN Associates since 1996 and has a comprehensive approach to medicine using all forms of non-surgical and surgical treatment to address a woman's reproductive health needs.
When surgery is necessary Dr. Lee has special expertise in minimal incision procedures particularly Da Vinci robotic surgery. She is an area leader in robotic GYN surgery and performed the first robotic surgery at Mercy Fairfield. She is the only area surgeon trained in robotic abdominal cerclages for the treatment of recurrent miscarriage due to cervical incompetence.
She also performs the latest “single site” robotic surgery performed entirely through a small navel incision in addition to standard robotic surgery for more complex cases.
Dr. Lee is also well practiced in the most discrete Gyn surgery route, vaginal surgery. Vaginal procedures range from hysterectomy and vaginal repairs to slings for urinary incontinence or operative hysteroscopy and uterine ablations.
She is co-director for the practice's accreditation with the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, which ensures the highest quality of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds. She is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and a member of the Cincinnati OBGYN Society.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes baseball with her son and English Equestrian with her daughter. She enjoys Cross Fit with her husband, running and reading.
